Axxon Films proposes to tell stories of people who contribute to create a better world.

We wish to support the international community (bilateral and multilateral development agencies, NGOs, etc.) in their efforts to raise the awareness on the results and the impact of the projects they finance.

We believe that information and communication activities should focus on the concrete achievements and impact of an action, to be presented with simple words and meaningful images. The people who benefit from the actions in their very daily life (« the final beneficiaries ») should be those who tell about the projects.

Our audio-visual products (documentaries, short video-clips) can well fit within a dynamic communication strategy, highlighting in images the achievements of development projects.

Our services related to the production of documentaries on development projects and programmes :

- support in defining the right audience(s) to be targeted and the right messages to be passed on;
- extensive preparatory work: reading of project reports, organising the shooting, etc.;
- sending experienced crews on the field: interviews of beneficiaries and stakeholders, filming of project activities;
- professional editing;
- printing of DVDs as publicity material or displaying on web sites;
- put our experience (www.silenziofilms.eu) at the service of the distribution of the films in local or international media.

On the roads of Sao Tome:

Support programme to the road sector in Sao Tome and Principe financed by the European Union (European Development Fund)

This programme has been ranked as one of the best ever financed by the EU in the whole Africa-Caribeans-Pacific area.

We believed its achievements were worth being highlighted in a short movie, through the eyes of one of the villagers who works for the project and benefits from it.

The following documentary (13’) has been produced in 2008 by Axxon Films, in consortium with PMExperts.org, an association of international development experts:
